Our final band has been added to The Urich Bike Festival weekend. The Gravel Yard will be headlining Saturday night’s lineup. If you don’t ride you can still join us for some great music both Friday and Saturday at Cedar Hill Amphitheatre, host of the 2023 Urich Bikefest. Tickets are available at the door and there is plenty of parking.
Here is some information about the band from their website:
The Gravel Yard
Emerging from the depths of the Ozark Mountains in Stone County, Arkansas, The Gravel Yard initially took shape in a genuine gravel lot. What began as spontaneous moonlit jam sessions soon revealed a musical chemistry too magnetic to ignore. Transitioning from their informal origins, the band soon made a mark on the local bluegrass scene. Their rising popularity saw them grace bigger stages and captivate larger audiences.
The The Gravel Yard’s musical style is a distinctive blend of intense traditional bluegrass and innovative tones infused with the heartfelt essence of Country and Americana. This sound is an auditory journey through time, reminiscent of the rich history of American Roots Music, where handmade instruments were the norm and front porches became grand stages.
